Your impact
As a Electrical Engineer, responsibilities include preparing and reviewing the Basis of Design, Load Lists, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Layouts, Material Take-Offs (MTO), and providing procurement assistance. The role requires hands-on experience with both Indian and International design codes, as well as effective interdisciplinary coordination to ensure project success.
Candidate should possess following as a minimum
- Should be able to prepare Basis of Design for Data Center, Master Plan, Concept, Schematics.
- Detail Engineering include preparation of Load list and load balancing in case of power failure at one source to maintain redundancy.
- Preparation of SLD, Power distribution, Equipment Layout as per NBC/CEIG/Electricity Rule, Cable tray / Earthing layout.
- Review of vendor drawings, review of electrical content for mechanical packages. Participate in discussions with the client, as necessary.
- Design of electrical SLD with protection schemes, calculation for illumination, earthing layouts.
- Design of ELV system mainly consists of fire & alarm, access control, public address and their interfacing with each other.
- Apart of technical knowledge, electrical engineer need to be able to lead project multitask and fulfill deliverable commitments. The main expectations from project aspects are –
- Attend meetings with clients and identifying their requirements.
- Propose systems and schemes.
- Prepare design specifications and develop layout drawings.
- Preparation of tender & enquiry documents for electrical equipment, package items, estimation of contractor MTO and project costing.
- Knowledge of IS / IEC / BS / NEC standards.
- Liaising and coordination with other inter departments in the design.
- Able to communicate with clients, suppliers and contractors.
- Tracking and monitor progress of the job.
Here's what you'll need
Skills & Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical with 5 Years work experience
- Self-driven with good leadership & reporting capabilities.
- Should have experience in multi office execution for Global projects
- Knowledge of Electrical codes & standards (IS / IEC / NBC) is mandatory.
- EHV Design knowledge is an added advantage.
