Job Opportunity: CAD Design Engineer (Creo)

- BE in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years’ experience, OR
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) with 5–7 years’ experience
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in Creo and Windchill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing products, modifying mechanical components and assemblies, and ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with product requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop part models and assembly models using Creo (v5 or higher).
- Create detailed engineering drawings for release of the parts and assemblies.
- Prepare and manage Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Design and modify sheet metal parts and steel fabrications.
- Apply GD&T and adhere to engineering drawing standards.
- Work within a PLM environment (Windchill preferred).
- Understand and manage EBOM, PBOM, SBOM structures.
- Ensure design documentation and release processes are followed.
- Perform basic DFA/DFM/DFS analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to 3D modeling.
- Conduct design calculations to validate engineering solutions.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 3–5 years of experience with Creo5 or higher.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal design and steel fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with design release workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a PLM environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
