About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Control & Instrumentation professional to manage and maintain plant automation and instrumentation systems. The role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of control systems, driving preventive maintenance, troubleshooting instrumentation issues, and implementing automation improvements to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and process stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain plant-wide Control & Instrumentation systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
- Monitor and optimize control systems to improve process efficiency, equipment reliability, productivity, and quality.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to field instruments, control loops, PLCs, DCS, and associated automation systems.
- Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC/DCS systems, preferably Valmet, ABB, and Yokogawa platforms.
- Support the integration, modification, and upgradation of PLC/DCS and other control systems to improve plant automation.
- Generate and analyze MIS reports related to maintenance activities, breakdowns, system performance, and key operational parameters.
- Utilize SAP for maintenance planning, work orders, spare parts management, inventory tracking, and reporting.
- Coordinate with Production, Electrical, Mechanical, and other departments to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and reliability enhancement and implement suitable solutions.
- Maintain proper documentation, calibration records, maintenance history, and compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.

Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech. in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics Engineering
Experience:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Control & Instrumentation, preferably in the Paper, Chemical, Power, or Process Manufacturing industry
