Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based in Kolkata. The Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles in alignment with Tata Motors' service standards. Responsibilities include conducting vehicle inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues, and ensuring quality service delivery. The Engineer will also collaborate with the service team to optimize operational efficiency and maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Fundamental knowledge of automotive systems, mechanical engineering, and troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a hands-on, on-site service environment
- Relevant educational background in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
- Previous experience in automotive repair and maintenance is preferred
