About This Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled professional to manage
Engineer/Senior Engineer-Packet Core Network (PCN) Operations and ensure high service availability across GSM, UMTS, LTE, and VoLTE networks. The role involves monitoring network alarms, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining Packet Core nodes to ensure seamless network performance.
What You Will Do
- Monitor and maintain Packet Core Network operations.
- Handle troubleshooting and fault resolution.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for PCN nodes.
- Conduct health checks, backups, and planned maintenance activities.
- Perform RCA, performance analysis, and outage management.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure proper system handover and adherence to operational processes.
You Will Bring
- Hands-on experience in Packet Core Network operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure operational environments.
- Good communication, coordination, and customer handling skills.
Key Qualification
- BE/B.Tech or MCA.
- 4+ years of experience in mobile network environments.
- Knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE, VoLTE and protocols like SS7, Sigtran, TCP/IP, GTP, Diameter, SCTP, SCCP.
- Experience with Huawei (SGSN, GGSN, SGW, PGW, MME) and Ericsson Packet Core nodes (SGSN-MME, EPG-SSR).
- Working knowledge of Linux/RedHat, DNS, and Wireshark.
- Vendor certifications in Packet Core are an added advantage.
