Role Description The Engineer role at DONNA APPARELS PRIVATE LIMITED is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Engineer will support manufacturing and production operations by monitoring processes, analyzing performance data, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Responsibilities include coordinating with design, production, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues, optimizing machinery and workflows, and ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, participating in root-cause analyses, and contributing to projects that upgrade equipment, streamline processes, and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Ability to analyze manufacturing processes, interpret data, and apply problem-solving techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
- Knowledge of industrial or production engineering principles, including workflow optimization, process layout, and basic quality control methods.
- Familiarity with apparel or textile manufacturing environments, machinery, and safety practices is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with standard office and technical software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, basic CAD or relevant engineering tools).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams on the shop floor and in office settings.
- Detail-oriented approach, with the ability to document procedures, prepare reports, and follow established standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Gurugram, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
