Role Description
The Engineer – Proposals Mechanical role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The responsibilities include preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals, understanding client requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure proposal accuracy.
. Detailed study of tender documents, contract conditions, specifications and drawings
• Preparing BOQs, methodology, rate Analysis, direct cost, indirect cost, technical and commercial deviations, etc., for different projects / tenders for bidding purpose
• Estimation, costing & bidding / tendering for all types of projects like Item Rate, Lump sum, Cost Plus, EPC / Turnkey, etc. Preparation of techno- commercial proposals with contract conditions, Bill of Quantities and technical specifications of Turnkey / EPC Industrial Projects
• Making proposals and bidding / quoting tenders for all kind of projects. Handling techno commercial correspondence during entire tendering process and up to finalization of contract
• Attending meetings with clients/consultants at pre-bid and post-bid stages
• Site survey / investigation for different aspects before quoting tenders
• Budgeting based on estimates & contract with clients
• Basic project planning & scheduling
• Good communication skills – verbal & written English
• Good interpersonal communication
• Should be a good team player
• Providing throughout support / information to execution team during execution of awarded projects for smooth functioning
• Knowledge of estimation of civil work & electrical, instrumentation will be an added advantage
