Experience Required:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Engineer – Control & Instrumentation with hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems to support operations at our Waste-to-Energy facility. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring of electrical and electronic equipment to ensure safe and uninterrupted plant operations. Prior experience on SCADA, PLC, VFD, MCC is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems within the plant
- Maintain motors, panels, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, PLC panels, and instrumentation systems
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for process plant
- Familiarity with different type and category of conventional and latest field instruments e.g., RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector), thermocouple, and transmitter technologies.
- Ability to perform load calculations and design electrical systems, including the selection of motors, protection devices, relays, cables, and earthing systems.
- Lead project planning and implementation efforts, ensuring projects are completed within budget and schedule constraints with safety and quality compliance
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment
- Monitor power distribution systems and ensure electrical safety compliance
- Assist during commissioning, shutdowns, and plant modifications
- Identify faults and carry out timely corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with operations and mechanical teams for smooth plant functioning
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and statutory regulations
- Proficient in instrumentation electrical panels design finalization and installation, with an understanding of electrical motors
- Develop and maintain connect with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Provide supervision and guidance during site work activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant industrial experience
- Prior experience in Waste-to-Energy, Power Plants, Biomass, Industrial Utilities, or Process Plants preferred
- Knowledge of electrical panels, PLC basics, instrumentation, and control systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with safety practices and industrial electrical standards
- Strong understanding of electrical systems design principles and practices.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required
- Proficiency in project management and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to Travel as and when required. Self-motivated, team worker with leadership quality as well as problem solving attitude
