Role Description The Engine Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bhopal, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. The specialist will diagnose, analyze, and resolve engine-related issues, perform routine inspections, and support preventive maintenance activities. Daily responsibilities include reviewing performance data, coordinating with operations and service teams, and recommending improvements to engine efficiency and reliability. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, supporting compliance with safety and quality standards, and providing guidance to colleagues on best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives is an integral part of the position.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines, engine components, and related systems.
- Experience in engine diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures, safety standards, and quality control processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and performance reports.
- Proficiency with relevant tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in automotive, industrial machinery, or related engine-focused environments is an advantage.
