Site Engineer

Job Title:Site EngineerDepartment:OperationsReporting To:Facility Manager Site: ES-Job Purpose:Site Engineer produces specifications for, design, develop, manufacture and install new or modified mechanical components or systems. Site Engineer need to be technically minded, able to demonstrate numerical and scientific ability and have problem-solving skills Key Responsibilities: Assessing project requirements Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices and engines Agreeing budgets, timescales and specifications with clients and managers Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient Using computer-aided design/modelling software Liaising with suppliers Undertaking relevant research Producing and implementing designs and test procedures Presenting designs to managers and clients Testing, evaluating, modifying and re-testing products Writing reports and documentation Providing technical advice Analyzing and interpreting data. QHSE Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and not to put other persons - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk by what you do or don't do in the course of your work; Cooperate with any company efforts to improve health and safety at work; Comply with any reasonable instruction given to you in the interest of health and safety. Not to interfere with or misuse anything that's provided for your health, safety or welfare Report any accidents, injuries or illnesses you may suffer as a result of doing your work, or any accidents, injuries or illnesses you become aware off that involves a fellow employee or member of the public at your place of work. Responsible as a Manager/Engineer/Supervisor towards Health and Safety will include, but not be limited to: Company directives, policies, processes and procedures for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment are fully implemented, understood, and adhered to; As far as is reasonably practicable, precautionary measures are implemented to mitigate and control hazards and risks at the workplace; All persons carrying out work are informed of the hazards and risks attached to their work, before doing such work; Persons under your control are competent, suitably trained, and have the necessary approval and authority to carry out their duties
