About the role
Procurement Excellence Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Group Procurement policies, governance, methods, and tools.
- Lead procurement performance strategy, monitoring KPIs, savings, scorecards, and forecasting.
- Drive process design and continuous improvement for Source-to-Pay and operational procurement activities.
- Oversee procurement analytics, market intelligence, master data, compliance, risk management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Support rollout and adoption of procurement digital tools, ERPs (S4H / GET), and system enhancements.
- Lead CSR, HSE integration, and Carbon Neutral procurement initiatives in coordination with GBUs.
- Conduct benchmarking, reporting, and alignment with finance, ethics, and sustainability functions.
- Coordinate with IT on procurement systems roadmap and digital transformation.
- Manage and develop Transformation & Excellence team members (where applicable).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business; Master’s preferred.
- 15+ years’ experience across end‑to‑end procurement processes.
- 5+ years of team leadership (direct or indirect).
- Strong background in energy, power plants, or oil & gas preferred.
- Expertise in procurement governance, performance management, and cross-functional project leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in digital tools: SAP, Maximo, MS Dynamics, Excel, Power BI.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
