About the role

We are seeking a Product Owner with expertise in trading systems and energy markets to drive the development of our cutting-edge energy and asset optimization solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of energy trading, market settlements, and AI-driven automation, along with hands-on experience in Python and Kafka. As a Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, Sales, Solutions and Customer Success teams to define and deliver solutions that enhance trading workflows and market analytics, particularly for renewable energy assets. With the transition toward a greener grid, managing renewable generation, energy storage, and power purchase agreements (PPAs) has become increasingly complex. Our platform, Adapt2 Green, is designed to simplify the contracting, operation, interfacing, and settlement of renewable energy contracts. You will play a key role in optimizing REC (Renewable Energy Certificate) Management, Contract Management, Resource Allocation, and Dispatch Optimization to ensure seamless integration of renewables into trading markets. Key Responsibilities: Own the product vision and roadmap for trading-related features, ensuring alignment with business and market needs, especially for renewable energy. Act as the SCRUM Product Owner, driving sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and feature development. Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts, and data engineers to integrate AI and Big Data capabilities for smarter decision-making. Work closely with Engineering, UX Designers, and Technical Leads to build intuitive and high-performance trading solutions. Leverage Python for developing analytical tools, market models, and automation frameworks. Integrate Kafka to enable real-time data streaming and processing for market settlements and PPA optimizations. Enhance platform capabilities in areas like PPA Settlement, REC Registry Connectivity, and Dispatch Optimization. Maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders to refine the product strategy. Design demos, training sessions, and go-to-market strategies for platform adoption. Ensure seamless integration with broader market operations, including B2B and T2T products.
