About the role

Why This Role Matters

The Regional Sales Manager plays a direct role in shaping how our customers experience our brand, from first conversation to long-term service success. This role doesn’t just manage numbers; it builds a sales culture that drives sustainable growth across residential and commercial services. The impact you make will be measured in stronger teams, cleaner execution, and a region that consistently outperforms expectations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll own revenue performance for your territory and lead a team of inside and outbound sales reps. You’ll balance hands-on deal support with coaching, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination to ensure sales commitments turn into successful customer outcomes.

Success in your first 90 days looks like:

  • A clearly forecasted pipeline with consistent weekly accuracy
  • Reps following a defined sales process and improving close rates
  • Strong working relationships with operations leaders that reduce install and service friction

What You’ll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days

  • Meet individually with each sales rep to understand strengths, gaps, and territory dynamics
  • Review current pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and conversion metrics; identify 2–3 immediate improvement opportunities
  • Join ride-alongs or call reviews to observe real deal cycles and reinforce best practices
  • Build alignment with operations and regional leadership on install timelines, escalation paths, and customer experience standards

Must Have

  • 3+ years of people management experience leading quota-carrying sales teams
  • Proven ownership of regional or multi-market revenue targets
  • Experience managing both inbound/inside and outbound/field sales motions
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM-based pipeline management and forecasting
  • Ability to travel regularly within a defined geographic region

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling residential and/or commercial services
  • Background in industries such as utilities, telecom, or home services
  • Experience partnering closely with operations or service delivery teams
  • Comfort presenting performance insights and strategy recommendations to senior leaders
  • Experience scaling or rebuilding sales teams and processes

How the Team Works

You’ll operate as the link between frontline sales execution and regional leadership. The team values clear targets, frequent coaching conversations, and fast issue resolution. Reps succeed here when expectations are explicit, follow-up is consistent, and wins—and misses—are addressed quickly and constructively.

Company Culture

We value accountability without ego and results without burnout. People here care about doing the job well, supporting each other, and building something that lasts, not just hitting this quarter’s number.
