THE WORK
This is not a back-office audit role, and it is not report-writing. You’ll sit across from plant heads, utility managers and CFOs and turn what you see on the shop floor into an ROI they can’t argue with — walking plants, finding the waste, and building the proposal that gets a pilot signed. And the part most audit jobs never give you: what you learn on the floor feeds straight into Zerowatt’s Energy Intelligence system. Your findings become logic, diagnostics and dashboards that scale to every plant after this one. Over time you won’t just use the product — you’ll help build it. Technical sales, energy engineering, and product instinct: you’ll live in all three.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You don’t need a fancy title or a climate background. Maybe you’re an energy auditor tired of findings that gather dust. Maybe you’re a utilities or operations engineer who always knew exactly where the waste was hiding. Maybe you’re a technical person who discovered you can sell — because you actually believe the numbers. You’ll want three or four years around industrial energy — compressors, motors, boilers, chillers, power quality — the nerve to hold a room full of senior people, and the itch to see your findings actually get built.
