Description

We offer an exciting opportunity for a Crude Oil Analyst to join our team and delve into the world of Crude oil and Refined Products. To understand, monitor, track, and analyse trends in the market. Ensure that OilX input sources & final deliverable quality set new standards in the Market. Discover new insights hidden within the data and create reports that simplify and communicate the underlying key messages to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily validations of the input data & delivered outcome. Ensure high reliability and data quality across OilX products and commodities.
• Gather daily information on the latest developments in the relevant commodity market, identify patterns, detect new trends, and evaluate them to propose necessary internal actions.
• Analyse, prepare & validate the required data and insights for customer-facing interfaces.
• Strive to improve the OilX Product and quality through fundamentals analysis, new data sources identification, etc.
  
  

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience working with large, disparate, unstructured data sets using Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Experience with Crude Oil or Refined Products operations will be highly advantageous.
• Strong capabilities in logical thinking, reasoning, and attention to details
• Strong analytical skills and capability to work with datasets, identifying trends, and supporting decisions with data.
• Effective team player with great communication skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Master’s or Bachelor’s university degree in Economics, Finance, International Trade, or Applied Science related fields.
