Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Eranad for an Endoscopy Technician. The Endoscopy Technician will be responsible for assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures, handling and maintaining endoscopy equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and cleaning of tools, preparing patients for procedures, and supporting surgical and medical assistance tasks when required. The technician will also ensure adherence to hospital protocols and maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Endoscopy procedures and handling endoscopy equipment
- Skills in Sterilization and Surgical Technology
- Experience in Medical Assisting and a solid understanding of Medical principles
- Knowledge of hospital safety and hygiene protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Relevant certification or diploma in surgical/medical technology or allied healthcare fields
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with medical professionals and patients effectively
