Junior Penetration Tester Internship

This is a remote position. The Junior Penetration Tester Internship Program at EncryptEdge Labs provides aspiring penetration testers with a structured, hands-on experience that covers various aspects of ethical hacking and vulnerability assessment. Over eight weeks, interns will complete 30 projects designed to build a solid foundation in penetration testing techniques. The curriculum spans topics such as reconnaissance, system hacking, web application security, network-level attacks, and advanced exploitation techniques. Participants will also learn post-exploitation strategies, reporting, and remediation, culminating in a Capture The Flag (CTF) challenge that tests their acquired skills. This program is ideal for those looking to kickstart a career in offensive security. Key Responsibilities: Learn and perform penetration testing techniques and methodologies. Set up and configure penetration testing labs and environments. Conduct information gathering, vulnerability scanning, and network penetration testing. Execute web application security testing and system hacking techniques. Engage in post-exploitation tasks, report writing, and remediation strategies. Participate in a Capture The Flag (CTF) challenge to demonstrate acquired skills.
