Enara Bio's purpose is to shine a light on unconventional T cell targets to develop cancer immunotherapies designed to provide lasting benefit for broad patient populations. Our proprietary EDAPT™ platform enables us to discover a novel and differentiated class of cancer-specific targets from the genomic dark matter, which we call Dark Antigens™. Role Overview We are looking for a motivated Research Associate with a passion for immunotherapy to join our Cell & Immuno Biology function. This role requires technical expertise in in-vitro tissue culture and experience of operating in a Biosafety level 2 (BSL-2) laboratory. The role will support a wide range of in-vitro, mammalian cell-based research activities across our Discovery and Product pipeline. This is an opportunity for a dedicated scientist to contribute to the development of novel technology platforms and discover new therapies for cancers with significant unmet need. Role Requirements Maintenance of mammalian cell lines – including routine tissue culture, preparation of master cell banks, preparation of cells for biological assays and preparation of samples for tissue-typing, monitoring infection (mycoplasma) and authentication (STR-profiling) Supporting scientists to conduct pipeline research – including immunological assays, primary human tissue processing, immune cell isolations, DNA and RNA extractions etc. Working closely with functional and project teams to advance our platforms and pipeline Document experiments according to industry standards to support and enable filing of patents, publications, and regulatory documents. Overseeing the maintenance/ servicing of laboratory equipment Supporting Laboratory Operations Lead in ensuring all routine tasks are complete Provide help/support with maintenance of laboratory stocks and deliveries Management of biological and chemical hazardous waste streams Following and ensuring compliance with all Environmental, Health and Safety company policies Minimum Qualifications and Experience required BSc or equivalent workplace experience in a relevant scientific discipline Hands on experience in a biological laboratory environment ideally in the biotech/pharma industry Experience with cell culture and aseptic techniques ideally in a BSL-2 environment Desirable Experience Experience of flow cytometry and other immunological or molecular biology techniques
