About the role

We seek a Product Manager to lead the creation and launch of our mobile-first online course. The ideal candidate will have a business-building mentality, focusing on achieving strategic vision and objectives. This role requires a blend of project management, strategy, and technology. Combined with a strong understanding of the online education market. The Product Manager will be important in translating our vision into a successful and market-leading online course. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the strategic vision for the mobile-first online course, ensuring alignment with company goals Understand and convey the course's value proposition, target audience, and competitive landscape Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the course's success. Lead the collaboration with content experts and instructional designers to create a comprehensive curriculum Ensure high-quality, engaging, and accessible course materials Maintain detailed documentation of the course design and development process. Coordinate the creation of the web platform, aligning technical specifications with course needs Oversee software development, conduct quality assurance, and manage user acceptance testing Plan for platform launch, post-launch support, ongoing updates, and maintenance. Develop and implement a testing strategy to ensure functionality, user-friendliness, and security Conduct various forms of testing (functional, usability, compatibility, performance, security) Manage bug tracking and resolution, ensuring a seamless user experience. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy Ensure timely and effective launch activities, including the creation of marketing materials Track launch KPIs and conduct post-launch evaluations for continuous improvement Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education Technology, or related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the ed-tech or online education sector Knowledge of mobile-first platforms, software development processes, and online course design Ability to use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track user engagement and inform product decisions Experience with API integration for enhancing platform functionality, including third-party content providers and social media Ability to align product strategy with company goals and market needs Experience working with cross-functional teams, including content creators, developers, and marketing professionals Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team coordination and stakeholder engagement Strong analytical skills to interpret data, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions Proven track record in managing complex projects from conception to launch Flexibility to adapt to evolving market trends and technology advancements
