Position Title: Employee Relations Specialist
Experience: 8–12 Years
Role Summary
The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and employee experience of the outsourced workforce. This role acts as the central point of contact for workforce-related matters, ensuring smooth operations, timely resolution of employee concerns, and effective coordination with internal teams and outsourcing employees.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end operations for outsourced workforce employees across assigned locations or functions.
- Ensure smooth on-boarding, attendance tracking, and workforce administration processes.
- Coordinate employee joining formalities, documentation, and workforce deployment activities.
- Facilitate the release of offer letters and other employment-related documents in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with hiring managers and business leaders regarding workforce requirements, employee on-boarding, deployment, and operational issues.
- Monitor workforce utilization, productivity, and operational effectiveness.
- Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Employee Query Resolution & Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and operational issues.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of employee queries related to attendance, payroll inputs, documentation, workplace concerns, and policy clarifications.
- Maintain a structured mechanism for tracking, monitoring, and resolving employee requests and concerns.
- Escalate critical issues to relevant stakeholders and ensure closure within defined timelines.
Workforce Engagement
- Support effective dissemination of organizational updates, policies, and operational information to the workforce.
- Conduct regular interactions with employees to understand operational concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Identify recurring workforce issues and recommend process improvements to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and maintain workforce dashboards, reports, and operational MIS.
- Analyze workforce trends including attendance, absenteeism, attrition, and employee concerns.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations to improve workforce effectiveness and employee experience.
- Track key operational metrics and present periodic updates to management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Employee query resolution turnaround time.
- Workforce attendance
- Employee satisfaction related to query handling and support.
- Workforce retention and attrition management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience & Skills
- 8–12 years of experience in workforce operations, employee management, employee services, or large-scale outsourced workforce administration.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and workforce management/reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
