Requirements*
We are looking for an Employee Life Cycle (ELC) Associate to support
day-to-day employee lifecycle operations for Global and U.S.
employee populations. This role is responsible for handling Tier-1 and
Tier-2 cases, maintaining employee data accuracy, supporting
onboarding and offboarding activities, assisting with payroll and
benefits education, and ensuring timely and compliant service delivery.
The ELC Associate works closely with ELC Leads, HRBPs, Payroll,
Benefits, HRIS, and COE teams to provide consistent, high-quality
employee support across the hire-to-retire lifecycle.
Key
Responsibilities
*
Case Management & First Line Support
• Handle Tier 1 and Tier 2 employee queries through the case
management system
• Respond to FAQs and non-technical process-related questions
using approved knowledge articles
• Perform data entry–based resolutions where applicable
• Update cases with accurate status, actions, next steps, and
resolutions
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Tier 3 or COE teams as
per defined protocols
Employee & Manager Education (Benefits, Payroll, Policies)
• Educate employees and managers on:
o Benefits, wellness programs, insurance, retirement
plans, COBRA, and perks
o Payroll-related topics (pay statements, deductions, tax
forms, AIP, vacation payout)
o Leave policies, holidays, time & attendance basics
• Guide employees to the correct resources and documentation
• Identify knowledge gaps and flag KB update needs to leads
Employee Data Management & HR Systems Support
• Process employee data changes including:
o Personal details, addresses, dependents, bank
information, tax data
• Update records in Poornata, UKG, iCIMS, EdFlix, and related
HR systems
• Upload and maintain digital personnel files in Document
Manager
• Support HR system access requests, password resets, and
basic troubleshooting
Onboarding Support (New Hires)
• Support onboarding activities such as:
Verifying offer letters and required documentation
Entering and validating new hire data in Poornata
Sending pre-boarding and clearance communications
• Coordinate notifications to Payroll, Benefits, IT, and HRBPs
• Assist with orientation logistics and documentation uploads
Pre-Payroll & Payroll Interface Support
• Support pre-payroll activities for hourly and salaried populations
• Assist with payroll input validation and basic issue identification
• Route payroll discrepancies or complex pay issues to
appropriate teams
• Support employee education on payroll timelines and processes
Transfers, Promotions & Position Lifecycle Support
• Assist with processing employee transfers and promotions
• Support document uploads and effective-date validations
• Follow up with managers on access reviews and required
actions
• Support position lifecycle data updates under guidance
Offboarding (Termination) Support
• Support offboarding transactions including:
System updates in Poornata and ServiceNow
Exit documentation and manager communications
• Assist with final payroll input coordination
• Ensure documentation is complete and stored correctly
Reporting & Documentation Support
• Extract standard employee data reports as requested
• Share reports securely with approved stakeholders
• Support audit requests by providing data and documentation
• Adhere to SOPs, SLAs, and data privacy requirements
Knowledge Base & SOP Support
• Follow approved SOPs and response templates
• Support knowledge base updates by flagging outdated content
• Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions
