Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and Python, with experience in machine learning and natural language processing. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement data models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. - Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes. - Design and execute machine learning and NLP projects. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into business processes. - Develop REST APIs using FastAPI and manage containerized applications with Docker. - Expertise in using Langchain to build and deploy LLM based applications. - Knowledge of different chunking strategies, RAG techniques, Embedding models. - Build and deploy applications using large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI GPT-4/Turbo/4, Anthropic, Falcon, LLama, etc. - Employ NLP toolkits such as Hugging Face and spaCy to enhance language processing capabilities. - Prototype and design experimental software, translating academic theories into practical applications. Required Qualifications: 1. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in SQL and Python, with extensive experience in libraries such as NumPy, Pandas and Scikit-learn. - Demonstrated exposure to machine learning and NLP projects or courses. - Experience with deep learning architectures, including LSTMs, Transformers, and related technologies. - Familiarity with cutting-edge deep learning-based NLP models like BERT, BART, and Sentence Transformers. - Hands-on experience with LLM stack tools including Lang Chain and LLamaIndex. 2. Soft Skills: - Proactive with strong communication (oral and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for designing and testing custom software solutions. - Ability to solve real-world problems through innovative ideas and independent research. - Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. - Proficient in translating academic ideas and theoretical algorithms into production systems. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with software prototyping and designing experimental software. - Proven track record of building and deploying applications using LLMs and NLP toolkits. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment. Good to have- - Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX) and libraries like Deep Graph Library (DGL) and DGL-KE.
