Trustbridge Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Director of Patient Care, RN, to provide clinical and administrative leadership for interdisciplinary hospice teams. In this role, you will guide patient care delivery across teams and inpatient units, ensuring high‑quality, compassionate services that align with hospice philosophy and regulatory standards. The Director partners closely with physicians, supervisors, and senior leadership to support collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous quality improvement.

What You'll do

Provide clinical and administrative leadership for interdisciplinary hospice care teams and assigned inpatient units, ensuring consistent delivery of high‑quality, compassionate care.

Plan, direct, and coordinate patient care activities while supporting staff performance, operational efficiency, and a culture of excellence.

Lead and support teams Monday–Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. at the Ft. Lauderdale office, including participation in on‑call responsibilities.

Serve as a key liaison between administration, physicians, and clinical supervisors to strengthen communication, collaboration, and team alignment.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and Joint Commission regulatory requirements across care teams and service areas.

What You'll Need
- RN degree from a college or university, accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and/or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.
- Hospice experience and certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience supervising patient care teams in health care required.
- Works well under stress with deadlines.
