About the role

The Admin & Dispatch role is responsible for supporting administrative and operational day to day tasks within the logistics and dispatch function. This role involves assisting in the implementation of dispatch plans, coordinating with the logistics team, and maintaining coordination with key customers and partners. The Admin & Dispatch professional will work closely with the Logistics & Dispatch Manager to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient logistics operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for fulfilling the customers daily dispatch demand Coordinating with service providers for transportation and arranging the required daily trucks Support administrative tasks related to the logistics and dispatch operations of the company Prepare and present all logistics performance reports to the Logistics & Dispatch Manager Assist in the coordination of dispatch plan for customer segments Maintain relationships with material coordinators of key customers to support logistics and market growth Collaborate with the Operations team to integrate logistical support into the overall process Implement and manage productivity tools and processes within the dispatch division Responsible for filing all dispatch transactions using the company software Additional Duties and Responsibilities Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities required In-depth knowledge of logistics and dispatch processes Understanding of company policies, procedures, and processes Strong customer service orientation Excellent relationship-building skills Effective communication and empathy Familiarity with logistics performance metrics (KPIs) Minimum Education Qualification (Education Degree) Diploma in Degree Any preferred professional training Training in logistics and dispatch strategies Bachelor's degree Professional Experience (Must haves) Experience in logistics and dispatch within the building materials industry (3-5 years) SAP System user (3+ years) Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations Logistics providers connections Key Performance Indicators Reporting on time On Time Loading Demand fulfilment & On time delivery rate Compliance Participate in Monthly Closing Documentation accuracy (Archiving) Behavioural Competencies Commitment to Result & Quality (Middle Management & Senior Employees) Customer Orientation Drive Health & Safety Culture (Middle Management & Senior Employees) Effective Communication (Middle Management & Senior Employees) Innovation & Change Management Leadership & Developing People Planning, Executing & Decision Making Technical Competencies Working Condition Requirement Concussion Low Dirt Low Dust Level Low Exposure to Chemicals Low Exposure to light Low Exposure to sun Low Gases & Vapors Low Heat Level Low Hindering Safety Gear Low Humidity Level Low Lack of light Low Oil & Grease Low Risk of Accident Low Risk of Cold Low Working in heights Low
