Graduate Engineer Trainee – Instrumentation / Electronics

Emerson is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer Trainee to join their project engineering team. This role focuses on the design, implementation, internal testing, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) for Process Systems and Solutions (PSS) projects. Ideal candidates are autonomous, proactive, and passionate about delivering robust, maintainable systems. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with overseas offices on project scope, schedules, and progress reporting Interpret P&ID and project documents to develop process requirements Develop configuration and test guidelines for DCS systems including Dynamo/FP/DT/Batch modules Take ownership of assigned tasks and escalate risks proactively with mitigation plans Participate in FAT/SAT/Commissioning as required Implement and maintain quality control and assurance documentation per EEEC IMS processes Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related technical field Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and coordinate with global teams Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Instrumentation or equivalent technical field Demonstrated ability to manage small to medium-sized projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
