Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Development & Management:
Maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 covering all phases: engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and delivery. Analyse variances, and escalate potential delays or deviations.
Engineering Resource Tracking:
Work with engineering managers and global teams to allocate resources and monitor engineering hours. Adjust schedules based on actual progress and revised forecasts. Ensure resource loading in schedules is accurate and realistic.
MRP Alignment & Material Flow:
Coordinate closely with the Product Delivery Planner to review MRP data with real-time scheduling needs. Ensure timely release and sequencing of materials per the project schedule and lead times. Serve as a key interface with the Product Delivery Planner, ensuring seamless integration between long-term planning and short-term execution. Attend joint planning-scheduling meetings to align on timelines, priorities, and risks. Support the planner in identifying feasibility gaps, resource bottlenecks, and schedule impacts of planning changes.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with global project teams to gather inputs and provide updates on schedule status. Communicate clearly across time zones, maintaining regular cadence of updates and reports. Support internal and external project reviews with relevant scheduling data and dashboards.
Reporting & Documentation:
Generate reports from Primavera P6 and MRP systems for progress reviews and risk assessments. Maintain audit-ready documentation of all schedule changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of experience in scheduling or project coordination, ideally in project industry or oil & gas sectors. Proficient in Primavera P6 and familiar with MRP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP). Strong analytical and communication skills; able to interpret technical schedules and explain to non-technical audiences. Experience coordinating across global teams and time zones.
Preferred:
Exposure to subsea equipment or offshore oil & gas projects is a plus, not mandatory. Previous collaboration with planners or project controls teams.
