Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Emergency Medicine Physician at IQ City Knowledge & Health Campus located in Durgapur. The role involves providing high-quality medical care in emergency and urgent care settings within the hospital. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, handling critical situations, ensuring patient safety and well-being, and coordinating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver compassionate and efficient care. The physician may also contribute to clinical training and mentorship for medical students and resident doctors as part of the campus’s academic environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine, with expertise in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine
- Proficient in managing Emergency Services and Urgent Care cases
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations requiring immediate decision-making
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and provide patient-centered care
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Emergency Medicine or related specializations
- Previous experience in clinical teaching or mentoring is an advantage
