Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Emergency Medical Technician role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The EMT will provide prehospital emergency care, including patient assessment, stabilization, and safe transport to medical facilities. Daily responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, operating and maintaining ambulance equipment, documenting patient care, and communicating with dispatchers, hospital staff, and physicians. The role involves working within established EMS protocols, using real-time communication tools, and collaborating with paramedics and other medical professionals to deliver high-quality, timely care. The EMT will also participate in ongoing training, follow safety and infection control standards, and support RED Health’s mission to save lives in diverse emergency scenarios.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), with experience in prehospital care and ambulance operations.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Paramedic practice and Medicine, including patient assessment, basic life support, and emergency interventions.
- Strong communication skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, and commitment to patient safety and ethical care.
- Physical fitness to lift and move patients, willingness to work shifts, weekends, and nights as part of a 24/7 emergency service.
- Experience with emergency medical equipment, ambulance protocols, and collaboration with hospital emergency departments is highly beneficial.
