The Role


Emerge is seeking a full-cycle Account Executive to drive net-new business across territory

markets.


This is a hunter role for someone who enjoys building pipeline, getting in front of prospects,

and closing long-term managed services partnerships. You will own the sales process from

initial outreach through close, partnering closely with leadership and technical teams to

deliver consultative, high-value solutions.


Responsibilities


• Prospect and engage new SMB and mid-market organizations across Cincinnati and

Dayton

• Generate pipeline and consistently secure first-time appointments (FTAs)

• Builds Networks. Connects with the right people to achieve goals, works through

formal channels to build relationships and support.

• Drive Results: Pursues everything with energy and drive with goals in mind, persists

in the face of challenge and setbacks.

• Instill Trust. Gains trust and confidence of others easily and models high standards

of honesty and integrity.

• Conduct discovery calls to uncover business challenges and technology needs

• Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close

• Present tailored managed IT and cloud solutions aligned to client needs

• Collaborate with technical and leadership teams throughout the sales process

• Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecasting in Pipedrive• Leverage Apollo and LinkedIn for outbound prospecting

• Build relationships within the local business community and referral network

• Consistently meet and exceed activity and revenue targets


Requirements

• This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate

• Full-cycle B2B sales experience (MSP, IT services, or consultative sales preferred)

• Track record of generating pipeline and closing new business

• Strong communication skills with executive stakeholders

• Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable operating autonomously

• Experience using CRM and sales tools (Pipedrive, Apollo, LinkedIn or similar)

• Ability to manage a field-based schedule with regular in-person meetings

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

• Up to 20% travel may be required

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred

• Demonstrated proficiency in professional written and verbal communication

• Established expertise in contract negotiation

Compensation & Benefits


• Base salary of $65,000-90,000 with OTE ~$150,000 uncapped
