About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play an essential part in the planning and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and social gatherings. Responsibilities include: Assist in planning and coordinating all aspects of events from start to finish. Communicate with clients to understand their event goals and requirements. Research and secure vendors, such as caterers, decorators, and entertainment, ensuring they meet budget and quality standards. Help create and manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and invoicing vendors. Coordinate logistics including venue rental, setup and breakdown, and transportation arrangements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in event planning or a related area. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
