Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator responsible for operating and maintaining computerized embroidery machines, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining superior embroidery quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computerized embroidery machines efficiently for bulk and sampling production
- Handle multi-head embroidery machines such as Tajima, Barudan, or similar machines
- Load embroidery designs and manage production files using Wilcom and WIN software
- Perform machine setup, thread changing, needle replacement, and tension adjustments
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot technical issues during production
- Ensure proper fabric placement, hooping, and alignment before embroidery
- Conduct quality checks for embroidery finishing, thread trimming, and defect identification
- Maintain daily production reports and machine logs
- Coordinate with production, sampling, and quality teams
- Meet daily/weekly production targets while minimizing wastage
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and operational guidelines
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of computerized embroidery machines
- Expertise in Wilcom software
- Knowledge of WIN embroidery software
- Understanding of embroidery file formats such as DST, EMB, etc.
- Fabric handling and embroidery placement knowledge
- Machine troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Quality inspection and defect analysis
- Production planning and time management
- Team coordination and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Certification in Textile, Fashion, or relevant technical field preferred
- Experience in garment manufacturing/export house preferred
