About the role

You’ll serve as the first—and often most critical—touchpoint for prospective customers. Your mission: convert curiosity into qualified pipeline, accelerate deals through the funnel, and help Ember become the industry leader in revenue integrity and compliance automation. Success is measured by opportunities sourced, meetings booked, and contribution to closed‑won ARR.

What You'll Do

  • Own outbound prospecting to a curated list of health systems and IDNs via phone, email, LinkedIn, and targeted industry events.
  • Develop strategic account plans. Map key stakeholders, understand organizational priorities, and align Ember’s solutions accordingly.
  • Cultivate executive relationships with CFOs, CROs, and SVPs of Revenue Cycle; become their trusted advisor.
  • Progress opportunities through the pipeline. Identify internal champions, uncover budget and ROI requirements, and manage timelines and approvals.
  • Continuously sharpen your craft. Master Ember’s platform, stay current on regulatory changes, and refine your pitch to speak each prospect’s language.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of quota-carrying sales or SDR/BDR experience at high-growth HIT or SaaS companies selling to hospitals/health systems, with a track record of beating targets.
  • Skilled at generating new opportunities from scratch and driving innovative technology into complex provider organizations.
  • at discovery, active listening, and persuasive storytelling in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to quickly capture attention and build trust.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing outreach, tracking performance, and hitting targets.
  • High energy, resilient, ethical, and aligned with a culture that values professionalism and tangible results.
  • Coachable, competitive, and deeply motivated by both individual and team success.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Existing network within health system Revenue Cycle or Finance leadership.
  • Prior success selling compliance, CDI, or revenue‑cycle solutions.

Compensation

$75K-85K base + commission
