Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Embedded Systems & Robotics Trainer at SMEClabs. The trainer will design and deliver training modules on embedded systems, robotics, and related technologies through online platforms and virtual labs. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating practical demonstrations, conducting live sessions, guiding learners through hands-on projects, and assessing their performance through assignments and evaluations. The trainer will also provide mentoring and technical support to learners, troubleshoot issues in their projects, and update course content to align with current industry standards and tools. Collaboration with the training and curriculum teams to improve course quality and learner outcomes is an essential part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of robotics concepts and systems, including experience with industrial or educational Robotics and Robot programming.
- Practical skills in Robotic Welding and related robotic applications, with the ability to demonstrate and explain real-world use cases.
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance on robotic and embedded systems, and to teach these practices effectively.
- Solid understanding of embedded systems (microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, communication protocols) and related development tools.
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or mentor in technical domains, with clear and engaging communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Robotics, or a related engineering/technical field.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment, with good time management, documentation, and online collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety practices, and current trends in automation and robotics is an advantage.
