Role Description The Embedded Systems Mentor is a full-time, remote based in Hyderabad. The mentor will design and deliver training modules in embedded systems, including microcontroller programming, interfacing, and real-time applications, ensuring content is aligned with current industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting classroom and lab sessions, preparing learning materials, guiding students through projects, and providing individualized support to help learners master core concepts. The mentor will assess student performance, give constructive feedback, and collaborate with other trainers to continuously improve curricula and teaching methods. Additional duties include staying updated on embedded technologies, participating in workshops or internal knowledge-sharing sessions, and supporting placement activities by helping students prepare technical portfolios and interview readiness.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in embedded systems, such as microcontroller and microprocessor programming (e.g., ARM, AVR, PIC), C/C++ for embedded applications, and hardware interfacing with sensors and communication modules.
- Candidates should possess skills in system design and development, including embedded Linux basics, RTOS concepts, circuit design, debugging with tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and integration of hardware and firmware.
- Candidates should possess teaching and mentoring capabilities, including the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly, design structured training content, assess learner progress, and provide personalized guidance and feedback.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including strong spoken and written English, classroom management, and the ability to work effectively with students, peers, and management.
- Candidates should possess general professional skills, such as problem-solving, patience, adaptability to new technologies, and a genuine interest in learner success and skill development.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred; prior experience as a trainer, mentor, or teaching assistant in embedded systems or related domains is highly beneficial.
- Experience with project-based learning, industry-oriented training programs, or prior work in embedded product development will be considered an advantage.
