About Fluxton
Fluxton builds edge-enabled infrastructure for the real world. We develop cloud, edge, and hybrid platforms that power distributed systems where reliability, autonomy, and performance matter. Our technology enables organizations to choose the deployment model that best fits their operational, regulatory, and connectivity requirements.
We're starting with EV charging infrastructure, building systems that combine real-time communication, autonomous decision-making, and intelligent synchronization across cloud and edge environments.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy embedded systems, firmware development, networking, device communication, and solving real-world infrastructure challenges.
What You'll Work On
- Develop embedded software and firmware for Fluxton's edge computing platforms
- Build software that interfaces with EV chargers and infrastructure hardware
- Implement communication protocols between edge devices, chargers, and cloud services
- Work with networking technologies including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Cellular, CAN Bus, RS485, and MQTT
- Integrate microcontrollers, processors, sensors, and communication modules into edge platforms
- Develop drivers and low-level software for hardware components
- Debug hardware and firmware issues in both development and field environments
- Design and conduct testing, validation, and reliability assessments for embedded systems
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure engineers to build complete solutions
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions
- Document firmware designs, communication protocols, and implementation details
