Job Overview
- We are looking for a Technical Manager – Embedded Electronics (Hardware & Firmware) to lead embedded hardware and firmware teams. This is a hands-on technical leadership role involving architecture ownership, engineering problem-solving, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality delivery of electronics used in servo drives, VFDs, and motion control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end embedded hardware + firmware architecture
- Lead design reviews, debugging, and complex technical problem-solving
- Define technology roadmap (MCU/SoC, RTOS, power systems, toolchains)
- Guide development of drivers, RTOS firmware, bootloaders, and communication stacks
- Ensure EMC/EMI compliance, reliability, and system performance
- Drive root cause analysis for field, EMC, and reliability issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Controls, Manufacturing, Quality)
- Mentor engineers and enforce engineering best practices and quality processes
Must-Have Qualifications
- 12–18 years of experience in embedded hardware + firmware development
- Strong hands-on experience with industrial electronics (servo drives, inverters, motion control)
- Expertise in MCU/SoC design, analog/digital circuits, and power management
- Strong experience in embedded C, RTOS or bare-metal development
- Hands-on debugging using JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, and lab tools
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, CAN, PROFINET, IO-Link)
- Strong understanding of EMC/EMI, PCB design, and system reliability
- Prior experience as Technical Lead / Architect / Hands-on Manager
