Job Title: Founding Embedded Systems Engineer (Deep Tech / Wearables)
Company: SYYLK Labs
Location: Indore, India / Remote (Hybrid)
Equity: Founding Team Equity + Competitive Salary (Post-Seed)
About the Role
At SYYLK Labs, we are moving beyond "Additive" reality. We are building the
SR Protocol—a hardware-level sensory gating system designed to solve cognitive overload. We are looking for a brilliant Embedded Systems Engineer to lead the development of our
Neural Hub and integrate complex nanoscale actuators (SAW/H-PDLC) into a high-performance wearable form factor.
Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Develop and optimize the firmware for our "Decoupled Compute" architecture, ensuring <10ms latency between sensor input and H-PDLC/ABCS output.
- Actuator Integration: Design and implement the driver logic for Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) triggers to actuate Holographic Liquid Crystal (H-PDLC) lenses.
- Audio DSP: Fine-tune Active Bone Conduction Suppression (ABCS) algorithms for real-time 180° phase inversion and ambient noise cancellation.
- Power Management: Optimize power consumption for Structural Battery storage (Carbon-fiber frame integration).
- Sensor Fusion: Integrate IR Gaze-Tracking and MEMS microphone arrays to enable Gaze-Contingent sensory filtering.
Required Technical Skills
- Hardware: Expertise in ARM Cortex-M or RISC-V architectures; experience with FPGA prototyping is a major plus.
- Communication: Proficiency in high-speed protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI).
- Real-Time OS: Strong experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and bare-metal programming.
- DSP/Math: Solid understanding of Digital Signal Processing, specifically for audio and high-frequency wave manipulation.
- Languages: Expert-level C/C++ and Python for hardware testing.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in Wearables, Neuro-tech, or high-precision Medical Devices.
- Familiarity with SLAM or Computer Vision processing at the edge.
- A passion for building hardware that solves biological and cognitive challenges.
