Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer
Location: Pune (Onsite)
Experience: 5 – 10 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer to design and develop robust electronic hardware platforms for industrial control systems used in fire detection, suppression systems, and other safety-critical industrial environments. If you have strong expertise in industrial electronics, embedded hardware architecture, and high-reliability system design, this role is for you!
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–10 years in electronics hardware development for industrial electronics hardware design.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related.
- Strong expertise in industrial IO and control hardware, mixed-signal design, protection and isolation design, multi-layer PCB layout.
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical driver circuits, RS485/RS232, Modbus, industrial networking, low-power RF module integration (Zigbee, BLE, Sub-GHz), EMI/EMC design practices
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system-level thinking skills.
- Prior experience in regulated, safety-critical, or high-reliability domains preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
Tech Stack & Tools
- Schematic Capture & PCB Layout: Altium Designer (preferred), SolidWorks PCB or equivalent
- Analysis and simulations: Signal analysers, Power analysers, Thermal analysis, LTSpice, PLECS
- Industrial Interfaces: RS485, RS232, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Modbus
- RF: Zigbee, BLE modules, antenna tuning tools
- Power: AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, LDO design
- Lab Equipment: Oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, network analyser
- Compliance: FCC, UL, ULC, FM, VDS, CE, EMC validation tools
