We are seeking an experienced Embedded Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in embedded systems design, development, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of open-source embedded applications, firmware, and system-level software while driving high-quality technical solutions.

Must-Have Technical Competencies
- Strong hands-on experience in developing and troubleshooting embedded systems on targets such as ARM, 8051, QEMU, and Baseboard Management Controllers (BMCs)
- Solid programming expertise in C and C++, including inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms
- Proven experience in embedded system architecture and design
- In-depth understanding of:
- Interfaces and hardware subsystems
- OS concepts and embedded Linux fundamentals
- x86-64 and ARM architectures
- Board bring-up and low-level hardware integration
- Working knowledge of industry-standard interfaces and protocols such as:
- I2C, SPI, RS232, PCIe, D-Bus, and related communication protocols
- Experience with industry-wide management and control protocols, including:
- IPMI, Redfish, SNMP, HP iLO, MCTP, PLDM, ONTAP
- Familiarity with open-source software configuration management tools, defect tracking systems, and peer code review processes
Good-to-Have Skills
- OS porting experience
- Secure Boot, UEFI, U-Boot, and firmware development expertise
- Exposure to Linux kernel internals and driver development
- Experience with C++11, Python, and robotic frameworks
- Working knowledge of BIOS concepts
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze and work on project and system requirements
- Design and develop open-source applications for embedded systems and server platforms
- Perform troubleshooting, bug fixing, validation, and testing to ensure system reliability
- Act as a technical subject matter expert, supporting delivery processes and implementations
- Contribute to high-level system architecture and drive low-level design decisions
- Mentor and coach embedded developers and team members
- Apply industry best practices to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions
- Ensure all developed solutions comply with organizational and industry standards
