Job Description :
Role: Embedded Software Engineer – Multimedia
Experience: 3 to 8 years
Location : Banglore
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize multimedia components with a strong focus on Audio and Camera frameworks.
- Work on C/C++ programming in embedded systems, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Develop and enhance multimedia pipelines on Android / Linux / QNX platforms.
- Work on Linux middleware, drivers, and multimedia subsystems.
- Contribute to board bring‑up, integration, and real-time debugging on target hardware using emulators/debuggers.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with BSP, HAL, system, and multimedia teams.
- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and continuous integration processes.
- Drive issue analysis and debugging across hardware, kernel, middleware, and application layers.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in C and C++ programming in embedded environments.
- Expertise in Audio or Camera multimedia frameworks (audio pipelines, camera stack, multimedia processing, codecs, etc.).
- Background in Multimedia, Linux middleware, RTOS, and embedded applications.
- Experience working with Android/Linux/QNX or similar embedded operating systems.
- Real-time debugging skills using hardware emulators, debuggers, logs, and performance tools.
- Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, UML, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, memory management, and low-level OS concepts.
- Agile development experience.

Good to Have

- Knowledge of multimedia standards, streaming protocols, and latency optimization.
