Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Embedded AI Engineer (Linux Systems) based in Hyderabad. The primary focus of this role is on Embedded Linux development for edge devices, including system bring-up, kernel customization, and firmware integration.
Key responsibilities include working on Linux kernel, device drivers, and Yocto-based build systems, along with developing and debugging low-level software for embedded platforms. You will collaborate closely with hardware and firmware teams to ensure reliable system performance, handle protocol-level integrations (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN), and optimize system resources.
Additionally, the role involves supporting the deployment and integration of AI/ML models on edge devices, ensuring efficient interaction between software, hardware, and on-device inference pipelines across diverse embedded platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong fundamentals in C/C++ and Embedded Linux systems
- Knowledge in Linux kernel, device drivers, and Yocto/build systems
- Familiarity with hardware schematics, embedded interfaces and protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN)
- Knowledge of system bring-up, debugging, and performance optimization on embedded platforms
- Exposure to Python and basic AI/ML concepts for edge deployment is a plus
- Understanding of AI models pipeline is an added advantage
- Strong sense of ownership, commitment towards work
