Role Overview
We are looking for a data-driven Email Marketing Expert to own and scale TJC’s email marketing channel. This role will be responsible for driving revenue, customer engagement, and retention through lifecycle automation, segmentation, personalization, and performance optimisation.
The ideal candidate combines commercial thinking + technical execution, with strong experience in CRM, automation, deliverability, and conversion optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and promotional email campaigns aligned with trading calendar
- Own campaign calendar across sales, auctions, product launches, and seasonal events
- Optimise subject lines, creative, CTAs, and send-time for maximum engagement and conversion
Lifecycle & Automation
- Build and optimise automated journeys:
- Welcome series
- Browse & cart abandonment
- Post-purchase / cross-sell / replenishment
- Reactivation & win-back
- VIP / high-value customer flows
- Improve customer lifecycle and repeat purchase rate
- Segmentation & Personalisation
- Create advanced customer segments based on behaviour, purchase history, and engagement
- Drive personalization using product affinity, category interest, and customer value
- Support new vs existing customer revenue optimisation
Performance & Revenue Growth
- Own email revenue, conversion rate, and engagement metrics
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, offers, and automation logic
- Continuously optimise for Revenue per Subscriber and Customer Lifetime Value
- Maintain strong sender reputation and inbox placement
- Manage list hygiene, suppression, and engagement filtering
- Ensure full compliance with GDPR and email best practices
Data & Reporting
- Track and report on key KPIs:
- Revenue from email
- Open rate, CTR, CVR
- Automation performance
- List growth & churn
- Provide actionable insights to Digital Growth and Buying teams
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with:
- Digital Growth & Performance Marketing
- Buying & Merchandising teams
- Creative & Content teams
- CRM / Data / Tech teams
- Support product launches, category growth, and promotional campaigns

Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6+ years in Email / CRM / Lifecycle Marketing (e-commerce preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience with Email Service Providers such as: Klaviyo
- Deep understanding of:
- Customer lifecycle marketing
- Segmentation & personalization
- Automation & triggered flows
- A/B testing & optimisation
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset
- Experience working with large product catalogues and promotional calendars
- Knowledge of GDPR, deliverability, and email best practices
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience in retail, jewellery, fashion, or multi-channel commerce
- Experience with Shopify or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- SQL / data analysis / GA4 / BI tools knowledge
- SMS / Push / Omnichannel CRM experience
