About The Role

Lumen's Growth Marketing team is hiring its first strategic offshore team member — a Digital Marketing Consultant who will serve as a core execution partner for US-based email marketing programs.

This is a high-ownership, independent contributor role. You'll be crafting and executing email campaigns across multiple lines of business, using AI-assisted copy tools within Lumen's brand and compliance guidelines. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to grow into email operations and analytics.

What You'll Do

Email Copywriting & Campaign Execution (Primary Focus)

• Write compelling, on-brand email copy for campaigns and sequences across multiple business lines
• Use Lumen's internal AI-assisted copy generation platform, applying brand tone and compliance guardrails
• Interpret creative briefs and execute independently with minimal handholding
• Edit and refine copy based on feedback from US-based stakeholders
• Build and deploy emails, ensuring quality and accuracy through thorough QA
  
  

Email Operations & Workflow Support

• Manage diverse, high-volume email workloads with strong attention to detail
• Partner with campaign managers, marketing operations, and legal/compliance teams
• Maintain smooth cross-time zone handoffs to keep campaigns on schedule and within SLAs
• Contribute to process documentation and workflow improvements as the offshore model scales
  
  

Reporting & Analytics (Stretch / Trainable)

• Pull and prepare monthly email performance reports (sends, open rates, engagement metrics)
• Work with Marketo to extract campaign data for executive-level reporting
• Support continuous improvement efforts using performance insights
  
  

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

• 3–6 years of experience in email marketing, with a strong focus on copywriting
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, engaging email copy across a variety of campaign types
• Experience working from creative briefs and executing independently
• Ability to adapt your writing style to defined brand tone and voice guidelines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
• Clear written communication skills for both copy and stakeholder collaboration
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Marketo or a similar email marketing platform
• Exposure to AI-assisted writing tools or marketing automation workflows
• Experience supporting US-based teams in a global or offshore delivery model
• Familiarity with Salesforce-based marketing or outreach tools
• Telecom industry background (not mandatory)
