Summary:

The main function of the Test Automation Engineer role is to support the QA team on the TAXA project, focusing on developing a new web application that is part of a tax solution. The role's primary objective is to enhance software quality through automated testing, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Main Responsibilities:

The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for:

• Working within the QA team of the TAXA project on a web application.
• Writing and enhancing end-to-end tests, particularly UI tests aimed at maintaining application integrity.
  
  

Key Requirements

• University or technical college degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Proficient in cypress.io, cucumber, JavaScript, TypeScript, TestRail, JIRA, and Confluence.
• 3+ years of working experience in test automation for complex web applications.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience guiding and supporting other team members.
• Knowledge of the business field of taxes.
• Fluency in German.
  
  

Other Details

The position involves working within a QA team focused on the TAXA project and emphasizes test automation in a web application context. Fluent English (C1 level) is required, and proficiency in German is considered beneficial.
