Introduction & Summary
Emagine is seeking experienced ABAP Developers to join our network of talented freelance IT consultants. The ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of provable experience in key SAP development areas.
Main Responsibilities
The core responsibility includes working closely with functional teams to understand their requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Develop objects following Emagine development guidelines.
- Conduct unit testing for new developments.
- Create detailed technical designs based on functional specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing phases and post go-live.
- Enhance IDOC processes and develop workflows.
- Implement Smart Forms and design user-exits and BADIs.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to development processes.
- Work effectively within agile teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Continuously improve code quality through code reviews and best practices.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in ABAP development.
- Proficiency with ALV Reporting and ABAP Object-Oriented programming.
- Experience with Smart Forms and user-exit/BADI implementation.
- Knowledge of IDOC enhancement and workflow development.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and business processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5.
- Experience in SAP SD, MM, or FI modules.
