Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an ELV Technician based in Ahmedabad. The ELV Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and public address systems. The role involves coordinating with team members, following technical drawings and instructions, conducting system testing, and ensuring installations are compliant with standards. Additional duties include efficiently diagnosing issues, preparing reports, and maintaining tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience in installation and maintenance of ELV systems such as CCTV, fire alarms, access controls, and other structured cabling systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for identifying and resolving system malfunctions
- Knowledge of safety standards and adherence to installation protocols
- Proficiency in wiring and soldering techniques
- Basic IT knowledge, including network configuration and IP-based systems
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team
- Relevant technical certifications in ELV systems or electronics and an academic background in a related field
- Prior work experience in smart building technologies will be considered a strong advantage
