AI Agent Engineer – Healthcare AI

As an AI Agent Engineer at Ellipsis Health, you will be responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art AI models to enable our virtual assistant to engage in natural language conversations with patients and provide clinically-validated mental health assessments and recommendations. You will work closely with our clinical and product teams to ensure the AI models are performing at a high level and delivering an exceptional user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain advanced natural language processing (NLP) and conversational AI models to power our virtual assistant - Continuously improve the performance and accuracy of the AI models through iterative testing and refinement - Collaborate with clinical and product teams to ensure the AI models are aligned with clinical best practices and user needs - Deploy and monitor the AI models in production environments and troubleshoot any issues that arise - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in conversational AI and apply relevant techniques and technologies to our platform Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field - 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying conversational AI or natural language processing systems - Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and other ML/AI frameworks - Hands-on experience with natural language processing techniques such as text classification, entity extraction, and dialogue management - Understanding of clinical and medical terminology, as well as experience working in the healthcare domain (preferred) - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
