About the Project:
The customer is a prominent company in the security solutions sector, specializing in integrated systems for industries such as airports, hospitals, and manufacturing. With a strong presence in Germany, they are recognized for their innovative approach to physical security and access control.
The current project focuses on modernizing the customer's software by updating the user interface and improving backend architecture. This effort is crucial for maintaining a competitive edge and meeting the evolving needs of clients.
The goal is to rapidly implement a new GUI based on high-quality Figma prototypes. Developers will be expected to set up frontend mocks and, when necessary, design GraphQL and REST APIs unless provided by the backend team.
As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for building a completely new user interface using Angular, collaborating closely with the backend team to deliver a seamless and high-performing application.
Responsibilities:
Develop responsive, modern user interfaces using Angular, adhering to best practices and performance standards.
Build a new application UI from scratch based on Figma designs, ensuring high visual and functional fidelity.
Set up frontend mocks when backend services are unavailable to maintain development continuity.
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend and backend systems smoothly.
Design and document GraphQL and REST APIs if needed to support frontend functionality.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize application performance.
Contribute to UI/UX improvements and participate actively in agile development processes.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in frontend development with strong expertise in Angular and component-based architecture.
Proficiency with PrimeNG and building scalable, feature-rich UIs.
Solid experience translating Figma designs into clean, responsive, pixel-perfect frontend implementations.
Ability to independently set up mocks and work efficiently in fast-paced development cycles.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and delivering excellent user experiences.
Solid background working with graph databases, especially Neo4j, including modeling complex relationships, optimizing queries, and developing GraphQL APIs.
Experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs, with proficiency in OpenAPI specifications.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
