Financial Accountant
Position Overview
The Financial Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial
reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting (Once tasks are in-house)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain general ledger accounts.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts.
Accounts Management
• Support accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
• Oversee asset and depreciation schedules.
Process Improvement
• Identify workflow improvements.
• Maintain updated financial procedures.
Budgeting & Analysis
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, as requested.
• Analyze variances and prepare reports.
• Assist with payroll processing across multiple entities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Experience in multi-entity environments.
