Software Quality Assurance Engineer

100% Remote Our client has an amazing opportunity for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. This will be a manual testing position doing mostly ecommerce storefront and checkout testing. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. Rate: $50 - $55 / hr. w2 Responsibilities: Execute manual and automated tests for web applications Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts Validate frequent releases and ensure quality standards Write and review acceptance criteria for user stories Utilize test management tools to track and report defects Support code releases with automated functional tests Work on eCommerce projects and enterprise platforms Experience Requirements: eCommerce experience Web Testing experience (this will be mostly web) Experience with TestRail 3 years experience in manual test execution and automated test creation and execution. 3 years experience working with test management tools Knowledge of responsive web design concepts Knowledge of collaboration tools such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket) Experience working in an Agile environment Experience in testing and validating frequent releases Experience writing acceptance criteria for user stories Proficient in testing software manually; including but not limited to experience-based, context, exploratory, and scenario testing Proficient in test plan, test case, and test script formulation, report creation, defect tracking, business requirement/system specification analysis Experience with eCommerce projects on enterprise platforms [SalesForce, CommerceCloud] preferred Experience developing or maintaining suite of automated functional tests supporting code releases is a plus Experience with enterprise Order Management Systems (OMS), warehouse, and CMS platforms a plus
